According to NorthwestWiningandDining.com, there’s a new word to add to your vocabulary: “glamping,” a combination of “glamour” and “camping.” Lakedale now offers ‘Glamping Survival Kits,’ a collection of outdoor necessities for the glamorous camper (’glamper’). Each package was developed to be enjoyed while staying at one of 13 ‘glampsites,’ featuring canvas cabins furnished with a queen bed, full-size sleeper sofa or lounge chairs, bed and bath linens, and beautiful hickory furniture.

The resort is surrounded by 82 scenic acres, providing guests with a range of outdoor activities including hiking on our many trails and paths, nature-watching, playing horseshoes, barbecuing, making s'mores and more. There are three fresh springwater lakes for swimming in, as well as paddle boat, row boat, and canoe rentals. Or try your hand at fishing in our stocked lakes (Lakedale fishing permit purchase required). Catch a trout or wide-mouth bass and barbecue it for dinner!

Lakedale offers a variety of summer activities, including boat races, volleyball, canoeing and kayaking. Tie-dye parties supply guests with a plain white t-shirt with Lakedale logo, rubber bands, buckets of dye, and clothesline in order to create a unique, personalized souvenir. No one will go hungry or bored thanks to a plethora of offerings at the general store, which is open seasonally and stocks groceries, wine, beer, camping and fishing gear, bait, ice, wood and much more.
